Law Society of NSW Young Professionals dine out with AuscriptFor The Record
Auscript has thrown its support behind the future leaders of the New South Wales legal profession, sponsoring one of the state’s major legal fundraising events of 2016.
Auscript is the major sponsor for tonight’s NSW Law Society’s Annual Young Professionals Charity Ball – another example of the company’s commitment to support the legal fraternity in every facet of its work.
Auscript General Manager Kate Gaske said the sponsorship of a NSW legal profession charity event was a first for the Company, but said it was a natural fit for the company’s overarching commitment to legal practitioners.
“Our goal for tonight’s event is to remind young lawyers – particularly those who work in the Federal and Family jurisdictions where Auscript operates – that we are here to help them achieve good outcomes,” Ms Gaske said.
“Usually that means providing fast and accurate transcripts to ensure the most efficient delivery of justice, but tonight it means pitching in to support young legal professionals to raise money for a good cause.”
NSW Young Lawyers President Renée Bianchi said funds raised from the event would be donated to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
“Such an event, bringing together around 500 young professionals for a good cause, would not have been possible without the support of Auscript,” Ms Bianchi said.
“The transcription services offered by Auscript make lawyers’ lives easier. In my previous dealings with Auscript, I have found them to be efficient and accurate – all qualities one needs, particularly in relation to producing hearing transcripts.”
Auscript provides court recording and transcription services to the Federal Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Queensland Courts and Western Australia Courts. The world leading transcription provider delivers more than 2 million pages of transcript and records almost 200,000 hours of audio each year for these jurisdictions.
