The Basic Edition of TheRecord Manager is offered as a free download from the FTR Community website.  This module, when used with the free, downloadable TheRecord Player^TM, enables users to perform basic tasks such as:

• Copying FTR content between storage mediums e.g. from a PC to an external hard drive
• Reformatting FTR recordings to the Windows Media Audio (WMA) format and
• Decrypting content that was encrypted using the Guardian Edition.

The Standard Edition is included with the purchase of any FTR Gold^® software digital recording, note-taking or monitoring products or can be purchased separately from the FTR Store. It expands the capabilities of the Basic module by adding the ability to:

• Burn to optical media (CD/DVD) in data, WMF, CD-Audio or DVD-Video formats
• Replicate content to TheRecord Manager – Warehouse Edition, a server-based technology that facilitates storing, processing and providing rapid access to large and/or distant collections of FTR content.
