FTR Monitor is uniquely designed with built-in safeguards that make centralized recording reliable and risk free.  Audio (and video, if desired) are recorded independently in each room, thus lowering the risk of system wide failure.  In addition to facilitating confidence monitoring to ensure that a proceeding is indeed being recorded, FTR Monitor also provides the ability to monitor audio input levels delivered into the audio capture device (e.g. a capture card) and alerting the user when a lack of audio is detected.  This additional safeguard ensures that proceedings are safely captured, even when monitored by a remote user.

With FTR Monitor, users can remotely start and stop recording at selected locations, playback content from specific venues and create electronic notes while listening to recordings from each. Each note is automatically time-stamped with a hyperlink to the associated recording, thus enabling users to instantly access content at the exact point where each note was taken. When used with the FTR Reporter™ digital recording solution, this application offers the alternative to lower operational costs by having one person remotely control the recording process for multiple rooms.
