What is TheRecord Player?
TheRecord Player™ is FTR's premier playback application that is used either as a standalone program or in conjunction with FTR digital recording and note-taking solutions to play back, duplicate and share pre-recorded content. It is included with all FTR products and is also available as a FREE download from the FTR web site. For organizations that do not have Internet access, it can also be purchased for a small fee through the FTR Store.
Most popular amongst Court Clerks, Judges, Transcribers, Attorneys and other recipients of the court record, TheRecord Player includes tools and capabilities that cater to the needs of a diverse set of users. While its audio and video playback features are the most advanced available, the "tape recorder-style" functions of TheRecord Player are intuitive and quickly understood by all.

Through a rich and useful feature set, this versatile application gives users complete control of the content review process. For example, users can listen to an entire proceeding or pinpoint specific segments of interest through a simple one-or-two-click process instead of the monotony of fast forwarding or rewinding tapes. Additional convenient features include the ability to increase or decrease the master volume or the volume of individual channels, isolate individual channels to alleviate talk-over and support for a foot control.
